Licensed
in both Maryland and Pennsylvania, Jeanne
focuses on tax and estate planning for individuals and
business entities. Jeanne creates estate plans for
clients that include wills, trusts, powers of attorney,
and life insurance trusts. She has worked with numerous
clients to achieve their charitable goals through the
use of lifetime and testamentary charitable vehicles.
She has extensive experience with tax compliance and
business succession issues. Jeanne is a licensed CPA.
She received her BS from Boston
University and her JD from Georgetown University Law
Center and continues her education through courses
relating to tax and estate planning. Jeanne is a member
of the American, Maryland, Frederick County, and
Washington County Bar Associations, as well as the
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and
the Maryland Association of Certified Public
Accountants.
She is co-founder and co-chair of the
Women’s Giving Circle of Washington County, Maryland,
serves as a Trustee for the Community Foundation of
Washington County, Maryland, serves on the Investment
Committee of the Frederick County Community Foundation,
and has served as President of the Board of the Heartly
House, Inc. She currently serves as President of Safe
Place, Washington County’s Child Advocacy Center.
Jeanne is a Board member of the Frederick County Chamber
of Commerce, Chamber of Commerce of Washington County,
Hagerstown, and the Mason-Dixon Council of the Boy
Scouts of America. She is a member, and Past President,
of Sunrise Rotary-Hagerstown. Jeanne has been
recognized as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women. Jeanne
was recognized as Business Volunteer of the Year in 2006
by the Chamber of Commerce of Washington County,
Hagerstown. In 2008, Jeanne completed Leadership
Maryland and served as Chairperson for the Charter Board
in Washington County. |
